Terms of Service

The rules and conditions that govern your use of UNiQ

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of UNiQ, a biometric fingerprint intelligence analysis service operated by Ignite Eduventure ("UNiQ", "we", "our", "us"). By registering for or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1 The Service

UNiQ provides biometric fingerprint analysis reports based on the science of dermatoglyphics — the study of fingerprint ridge patterns. The analysis produces personalised intelligence reports covering:

  • Brain hemisphere dominance (left brain / right brain tendencies)
  • VAK learning style (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic)
  • Personality type mapping (16 types)
  • Career guidance and suitability graph
  • Workplace characteristics and communication style

Important: Reports are provided for educational and personal self-development purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional psychological evaluation, career counselling, or any other form of licensed professional advice.

2 Eligibility

To use UNiQ, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • You must be 18 years of age or older; OR
  • If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must register on your behalf, provide explicit consent, and agree to these Terms on your behalf.
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
  • You must be capable of forming a legally binding contract under applicable law.

By using the service, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not meet these requirements.

3 Report Usage

Your UNiQ intelligence report is provided for your personal use under the following terms:

  • Reports are for personal, non-commercial use only.
  • You may not redistribute, publish, sell, license, or otherwise commercially exploit the content of your report without prior written consent from UNiQ.
  • You may share your report with immediate family members, educational institutions, or employers for personal guidance purposes.
  • You may not misrepresent the contents of your report or use it to make claims not supported by the report itself.
  • Each report is generated for a specific individual and may not be transferred or applied to a different person.

4 Accuracy Disclaimer

UNiQ's analysis is based on over 200 years of published dermatoglyphic science research and modern pattern recognition technology. We are committed to accuracy and continuous improvement.

UNiQ does not guarantee specific career outcomes, academic results, personality predictions, or any other life outcomes based on report findings. Results reflect dermatoglyphic tendencies and should be considered as one input among many in decision-making.

  • Dermatoglyphics is a recognised scientific discipline; however, interpretations of results are contextual and not absolute.
  • Individual results may vary based on environmental factors, personal development, and lived experience that extend beyond biological predispositions.
  • Report findings are not deterministic — they describe tendencies and potential, not certainties.

5 Payment & Refunds

Where applicable, the following payment terms apply:

  • Fees are charged on a per-report-session basis. The applicable fee will be clearly displayed before purchase.
  • All payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.
  • No refunds once a report is generated. Due to the nature of personalised biometric analysis, once your fingerprint data has been processed and a report has been generated, the session fee is non-refundable.
  • If there is a technical failure that prevents report delivery, you are entitled to a full refund or a free re-generation of the report at our discretion.
  • Any disputes regarding charges must be raised within 30 days of the transaction by contacting cs@igniteeduventure.com.

6 Intellectual Property

All intellectual property related to UNiQ is owned exclusively by UNiQ / Ignite Eduventure:

  • Algorithms and analysis methodology — Our dermatoglyphic analysis engine, scoring methodology, and neural intelligence mapping system are proprietary.
  • Report content and templates — The format, structure, language, and presentation of intelligence reports are protected by copyright.
  • Branding — The UNiQ name, logo, taglines, and visual identity are trademarks of Ignite Eduventure.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the service solely as outlined in these Terms. No other rights are granted.

7 User Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following:

  • Submitting fingerprint data of any person without their informed consent (or the consent of their legal guardian if a minor).
  • Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the algorithms or proprietary methods used by UNiQ.
  • Using the service to generate reports for fraudulent or deceptive purposes.
  • Misrepresenting your identity or the identity of any person whose fingerprints are submitted.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • UNiQ's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant report session.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of or reliance on the service.
  • We are not liable for any loss of data, unauthorised access, or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

9 Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship:

  • We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or non-payment.
  • Upon termination, your licence to use the service ends. Sections relating to intellectual property, liability, and governing law survive termination.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

  • Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
  • We encourage resolution of disputes through direct communication before pursuing formal legal action. Contact us at cs@igniteeduventure.com.
